Origins

Les Arcadiens is an object design studio founded by Geoffrey Kazmierczak, a trained designer specializing in interface design for 12 years.

After several years spent designing digital experiences, he created Les Arcadiens alongside his main activity to reconnect with materiality, craftsmanship, and the pleasure of designing objects you can see, touch, and bring into the physical world.

Everyday objects far from the ordinary

Each piece is designed to stand out in its space without overpowering it. Sculpted shapes and bold lines draw the eye and create a focal point in your interior decor.

Every color is carefully chosen to highlight the volumes and provide just the right visual presence—expressive and balanced.

Les Arcadiens aims to offer unique objects you won’t find anywhere else, neither in their shapes nor in their colors. Pieces that truly stand apart from what you’ll see in traditional decor stores.

Locally made and responsibly sourced

All pieces are designed and crafted in our workshop located in Caen, Normandy.

They are produced mainly from bio-based materials, following a controlled production process and with a reduced ecological footprint.

We make our objects using 3D printing, a technique that allows us to iterate quickly, stay close to the object as it takes shape, and adjust it in real time. It’s a way to anchor manufacturing in the creative process, with no break between the idea and its realization.

This approach is only a starting point. The studio is constantly researching materials for their durability, environmental impact, and aesthetic potential.
We experiment with various materials and techniques, from bioplastic to wood, always aiming to create objects that are both expressive and environmentally respectful.
3D printing is, in short, a gateway to more free, controlled, and local production.

A committed design

At Les Arcadiens, design is both a functional and aesthetic discipline, as well as an ethical approach to manufacturing.

Far from standardized, disposable objects, we design pieces made to last, to naturally fit into a contemporary interior, and to suit lifestyles that value beauty as much as simplicity.
