Returns and refunds

Every Les Arcadiens piece is printed and assembled in our workshop in Normandy. If an item does not suit you after all, you have 30 days from delivery to exercise your right of withdrawal — a longer period than the 14 days required by law.

1 – Conditions for a return

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

• be unused and undamaged, in its original condition;
• be returned in its original packaging.

2 – Procedure

Before sending anything back, fill in our withdrawal form: it records the date of your request and sends you an acknowledgement straight away. You can also write to us at contact@lesarcadiens.fr, stating:

• your first and last name;
• your order number;
• the product or products concerned;
• the reason for the return (optional).

We reply within 24 working hours with the steps to follow. The return address is:

3 – Who pays for the return?

From France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, the return is on us: we email you a prepaid label to stick on the parcel and drop off at a Mondial Relay pickup point.

From Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany and Poland, returns remain possible within the same 30-day period, but return postage is at your expense. We advise a tracked service: until it reaches us, the parcel travels under your responsibility.

This distinction does not apply where we have made a mistake or the product is faulty: in that case we cover the return costs whatever the country.

4 – Refund

Once the returned items have arrived and been checked, the refund is issued within 14 days, to the same payment method used for the purchase.

It covers the price of the items and the standard delivery charges you paid on the way out. Return postage, where it falls to you, is not refunded.

5 – Non-refundable items

• gift cards, where applicable;
• orders made to measure at your request, unless a fault is established.

6 – Damaged product or a mistake on our part

If you have received a faulty item, or one that does not match your order, contact us within 30 days with:

• a photograph of the product concerned;
• your order number.

We will send you a prepaid return label and offer you, at your choice, an exchange or a full refund.

You also benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity (2 years from delivery, articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). These guarantees are free of charge and apply independently of the right of withdrawal.

8 – Governing language

This version is a translation. In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the French version prevails. As a consumer you nonetheless keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
